A decal sheet in 1:35 scale with Hungarian markings for the wheeled carrier of antitank guided missiles designated BRDM 3 Fagot. It is not a kit but an accessory, so the vehicle model has to be bought separately. It is made by the Hungarian brand HAD models; these are wet, waterslide decals on a clear carrier film.
The subject is an amphibious wheeled reconnaissance vehicle of the BRDM family adapted as a carrier of antitank guided missiles. The launcher is raised out of the hull, and after firing the vehicle can move away quickly, as the concept rests on mobility rather than on armor protection. Vehicles of this family served in the Warsaw Pact armies including the Hungarian one.
Spray the base under the decals with gloss clear coat, otherwise air will be trapped under the film and the edges will silver. Cut the design out close to the edge, dip it in lukewarm water and wait until it releases from the paper. Settle it on the dampened area, nudge it with a brush and soak the surplus water up. On a hull with protrusions, hatches and rounded sides a decal softener helps, as it pulls the film down onto the surface. Once it has dried completely, unify the surface with a matte varnish.
