European Portal - the entrance portal of a European house in 1:35 scale from MIG Productions, a resin backdrop for town dioramas and vignettes.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for a diorama from MIG Productions: the entrance portal of a European town house in 1:35 scale, cast in resin. It is not a model of a vehicle or a figure - it is an architectural element that gives a scene a credible town background without your having to build a whole building.
The portal works as a backdrop behind a vehicle or figures: a typical European street, from civilian subjects to wartime scenes. Thanks to 1:35 scale it matches the usual models of vehicles and figures exactly. It can be set into a facade made of plastic sheet, or used on its own as the background of a smaller vignette.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water before painting so that no mold release agent is left on them. After the primer, light stone and plaster shades, an oil wash in the joints and a dry brush to pick out the relief all suggest themselves; pigments and traces of damp will complete the patina at the foot of the masonry.
The accessory is supplied unpainted; glue resin with super glue and protect your airways while sanding.
