A photo-etched metal detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It holds thin photo-etched fenders of the newer type, which replace the coarser plastic parts from the box. Once fitted, the relief, the edges and the riveting are considerably finer and truer than on injected parts.
The Panzerkampfwagen IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War. It went through a long run of versions from the Ausf. A to the Ausf. J and served on every front. The fenders were among the parts that were often damaged and replaced in the field.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a cutting surface and bend them on a bending tool or with a ruler. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and treat it with a coat of primer so that the finish holds. Mud and dust effects picked out on the fenders work well.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
