The figure is cast in resin and is supplied as an assembly to be built and painted. Check the exact number of parts and accessories against the instructions supplied.
The Financni straz was an armed corps of First Republic Czechoslovakia that guarded the state borders and the customs interests of the state. Its members patrolled the border districts, fought smuggling and, in the tense year of 1938, took part in guarding the frontier as well. The uniform and equipment of this period make a rewarding subject for historical figures.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and clean up the joints. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill any small gaps. Lay down a primer and paint the figure with acrylics or oils; the face and the hands come into their own with shading and glazes. Setting it on a base or in a diorama suits it well.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without a base or accessories, unless stated otherwise. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
