This is a detailed add-on set, not the tank model itself. It contains an assembly of individual plastic track links which, once put together, replace or supplement the tracks of the base kit of the French Renault R35 light infantry tank in 1:35 scale.
The Renault R35 was a French light infantry support tank of the 1930s. It was fitted with a short 37 mm gun, carried a crew of two and, at the beginning of the Second World War, was among the most widely used French armored vehicles. Its characteristic cast road wheel and broken-up tracks are among its recognition features.
Separate the track links carefully from the sprues, clean them up and assemble them around the drive sprocket and the idler wheel. Use plastic cement for gluing; shape the sag of the upper run while the joints are still setting. Once painted, bring the detail out with washes that can be blended and apply dust and mud pigments for a convincing look.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
