Friendly boxing match – British and American paratroopers 1:35 is a plastic figure set capturing a friendly boxing match between paratroopers in the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale shows a light-hearted scene from the Second World War: a friendly boxing match between British and American paratroopers. Besides the two boxing soldiers it also holds a group of watching comrades, which makes the whole a lively genre scene for a rear-area setting. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set captures an informal moment of rest in the Allied airborne units. The figures wear the period uniforms and gear of British and American paratroopers, including the typical helmets and accessories. The subject is treated factually, as a scene of military life away from combat, and it goes well with a diorama of a field camp or an airfield.
Carefully separate the parts from the sprue gates and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Pay attention to the hands and the stances of the figures so that the scene looks natural. The uniforms of the two armies differ in shade, so an airbrushed base coat followed by highlighting of the details pays off. Finish the skin and the faces with glazes.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
