A photo-etched detail set, the German 105 mm LeFH 18 howitzer, in 1:35 scale from Aber. A metal accessory for a faithful build of the artillery piece, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale for the German 105 mm LeFH 18 light field howitzer. It is neither a gun model nor a complete kit, but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that replace and refine the details of the plastic base model: the shield, the mechanisms, the controls, brackets and small metal fittings on the carriage.
The LeFH 18, the leichte Feldhaubitze 18, was the standard German 105 mm light field howitzer and the backbone of Wehrmacht divisional artillery in the Second World War. It was marked by a split trail carriage and a characteristic armored shield, and it was fielded on every front.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them on a sheet bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The gun looks good on a diorama base; after painting, with a primer and a base shade, pick out the mechanisms with a wash and dust the surface with pigments for a look of field service.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
