An Aber photo-etched detail set for the German 88 mm FlaK 36 gun in 1:35 scale: the add-on set (vol. 2) with the protective gun shield for a plastic model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a gun model but a photo-etched metal detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is the add-on set (vol. 2), focused on the protective shield of the famous German 88 mm FlaK 36 gun. It serves to build up a period-accurate plastic model of this gun and replaces the coarser plastic parts with fine metal.
The 8.8 cm FlaK 36 was a German anti-aircraft gun of 88 mm caliber from the Second World War, which also became famous as an exceptionally effective anti-tank weapon. On its ground mount it could be fitted with a frontal armor shield protecting the crew during direct fire.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends along the etched grooves, ideally in a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), or spot-solder them. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer suitable for metal.
The set holds photo-etched metal parts only. The base gun model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
