A diorama accessory from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel, representing a small German shelter, that is a bunker, from the period of the Second World War. It is not a kit of a vehicle nor a model in its own right, but a building element of a scene around which a diorama is composed. The package holds five parts of hardened plaster, three resin parts, wooden accessories and building instructions. The plaster castings are easy to work: they can be scribed, sanded and broken, so the build can be adapted to a subject of your own.
Plaster soaks up strongly, so before painting strengthen and seal it with a sealer coat or with thinned PVA glue, otherwise a large part of the paint will disappear into the material. Apply the base tone with an airbrush or a brush in thin coats and then bring the concrete to life with patches and transitions, as a uniform gray area looks unnatural. You will pull the detail out with a dark wash into the joints and a dry brush along the edges. The marks of aging, that is water running down, moss growth at the foot and mud splatter, make up the greatest part of the final impression on concrete objects.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue, figures and a base are not included in the package.
