Hooks for the Pz.III turret, ELEFANT (1:35)

This is not a model of the tank but a resin set of 49 miniature hooks that lined the turret of the German Panzer III tank and served to hold spare track links, camouflage and equipment. Replacing the molded plastic lugs with separate castings markedly raises the fidelity of the turret.

Fitting tips

A high number of small parts calls for tweezers, good lighting and patience. Cut the parts off, clean them up with respiratory protection and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Mark out the placement of the hooks in advance according to the documentation for the vehicle.
