Quickboost 1:48 MiG-25 Foxbat air ramps sensors are resin sensors for the intake ramps of a model of the Soviet high-speed aircraft in 1:48 scale.

The small sensors and probes on the sides of the air intakes are either heavily simplified in injection-molded plastic or missing altogether. This accessory replaces them with sharp resin castings in which the thin profile and the shape come into their own. Although the parts are small, on a model in 1:48 scale the difference is immediately visible, because they sit on the large smooth surface of the intake where there is nothing to draw the eye away. Quickboost is a range of single-purpose accessories that can be worked in within a moment. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for one.
The MiG-25 was a Soviet twin-engine aircraft designed for high-speed flight at great altitudes, with large angular air intakes on the sides of the fuselage and a pair of vertical tail surfaces. The large rectangular intakes with their variable ramps are its most conspicuous design feature and carry small probes that fed data about the airflow into the control system. On a model these details form one of the few features on otherwise clean side surfaces.
Cut the small castings free over a mat or in a bowl so they do not get lost - with parts of this size that is the most common problem. Cut off the casting blocks with a sharp scalpel or a thin saw and only lightly sand the area. Mark the position in advance with a pencil according to the instructions, and glue the sensors with super glue applied on the tip of a toothpick rather than straight from the bottle. They are painted together with the whole model; once finished, a fine dark flowing shade along their outline is enough to set them apart from the smooth surface.
This is an accessory for modelers, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unpainted; paints, glue and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
