An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The package holds five figures of German soldiers of the Second World War in winter dress and a figure of a dog, together with a field stove, maps and equipment. The scene captures a group of soldiers at a briefing over a map.
The set represents German soldiers in the middle and later period of the Second World War in winter dress, in greatcoats and reversible winter oversuits. The line-up of figures includes an officer and an NCO bending over a spread-out map, a soldier checking his watch, another with a machine gun over his shoulder and a crouching figure. The infantry weapons included match the later period of the war, among them a machine gun and assault rifles.
Separate the figures from the sprue, clean up the parting lines and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. On winter uniforms you will appreciate working with light shades and gently bringing out the folds of the cloth; paint the faces in layers. The accessories included, such as the stove and the maps, strengthen the effect of the whole scene on a diorama.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
