1:35 German Split Ring Camo Paper Tank Masks

German Split Ring Camo Paper Tank Masks 1:35 from Uschi van der Rosten

A set of paper masking templates from the German maker Uschi van der Rosten in 1:35 scale. It is neither a model nor decals but an aid for the airbrush: the ring-shaped templates serve for spraying the characteristic German late-war camouflage called split ring onto armored vehicles. The templates are reusable, so one package will paint more than one vehicle.

Use

• Let the base color of the vehicle dry thoroughly, then lay the paper rings out on the surface according to the pattern you intend.
• Spray the second camouflage shade over the templates with an airbrush; the edges of the rings create the typical split circular motif.
• You choose the placement and density of the rings yourself, so every model comes out one of a kind.
• After spraying, lift the templates off and keep them for further use; the paper is reusable.

Who the set is for

For modelers of armored vehicles in 1:35 scale who want to spray the German late-war split ring camouflage accurately and quickly without lengthy hand masking. Builders of late and hypothetical German vehicles will appreciate it above all.

The templates are an aid for painting, not a paint or a model. Paints, an airbrush and the model are not included in the package. When spraying, work in a well-ventilated area with respiratory protection.
