A set of ten jerrycans of the German pattern in 1:35 scale, in the open version and with the MIAG marking.
Responsibility details are not available.
The standard German twenty-liter jerrycan was made during the war at a number of works, and each of them stamped its own mark into the metal along with the year of manufacture. It is precisely by these marks that individual batches are recognized in period photographs today. The shape stayed the same: a container pressed from two halves, a cross pressed into the sides for stiffness and against expansion of the contents, three handles side by side at the top and a flat bottom on which the can stands even on a tilted bed.
Ten jerrycans in 1:35 scale in the open version, with the MIAG marking. The sister sets from the same supplier offer different markings and also a closed version and a version with a pouring tube, so a mixture can be put together that looks more believable on a model than ten identical pieces. The number of parts and any variants are stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
In service the cans were scuffed mainly on the edges, on the handles and on the bottom, so it is exactly there that careful dry brushing pays off. Leave rust only in the places where water ran down.
An accessory set is supplied. The vehicle model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
