A diorama prop in 1:35 scale: mobile safety barriers in the rendering the manufacturer calls the Hasco type, supplied according to the name as three separate pieces. Separate barriers are ideal where you do not want a regular line but a living, slightly chaotic scene. They are supplied as unpainted castings to be cleaned up and painted.
Each piece can be placed differently: one barrier upright by an excavation, a second leaning after an impact, a third knocked over in a ditch. It is precisely the small irregularities that make a modern urban scene believable. The barriers serve at a building site, a traffic accident, a checkpoint and in a post-apocalyptic subject as a dismantled barricade. With figures and vehicles in 1:35 they form a natural guide for the viewer's eye through a scene.
It pays to treat each piece a little differently: one freshly painted in signal colors, a second faded by the sun, a third scuffed and muddy. A light base, masked stripes, scuffs with a sponge and dust pigments at ground level are within reach of a less experienced modeler. Incidentally, giving three identical objects different weathering is an excellent exercise in weathering on a small area.
The accessories are supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
