Mantis Miniatures Head Set 3 /Modern/ 1:35 — a resin set of replacement heads of modern soldiers for bringing figures in 1:35 scale to life and for conversions.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of replacement heads in 1:35 scale from Mantis Miniatures, tuned to a modern military setting. It is not a complete figure but a set of supplementary heads intended to replace the factory heads of figures or for conversions and for bringing your own scenes to life. The individual heads are cast with fine detail of the face and of modern headgear.
Interchangeable heads are among the quickest ways to give a production figure an individual expression. They allow the turn of the gaze, the facial expression and the type of helmet or cap to be changed, so that two otherwise identical figures read differently. The set suits the creation of dioramas with a present-day army, where variety of faces matters.
Wash the heads free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and clean the neck face up so that it sits into the collar of the figure. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; faces paint well with gradual layering and glazes for a natural skin tone, and the eyes and the beard are finished at the end with a fine brush.
This is a supplementary resin set of heads, not a complete figure. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the paints, the glue and the figures are not included in the package.
