Eduard 1:35 King Tiger last production fenders is a photo-etched set of fenders for a model of the German Tiger II heavy tank of the last production batch. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale adds thin metal fenders to a model of the German Tiger II heavy tank of the last production batch. The photo-etched version faithfully reproduces the real sheet-metal fenders, including the option of bending them into a damaged or buckled shape, which plastic does not allow. It is not a standalone model but an upgrade accessory.
The Tiger II, nicknamed King Tiger, was a German heavy tank of the end of the Second World War. The sheet-metal fenders above the running gear were often bent, partly missing or torn away in service, and the photo-etched parts make it possible to reproduce that faithfully.
Separate the fenders with a sharp knife and bend them into the shape you want before gluing; a slight crumpling raises the realism. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once painted, emphasize the scuffed metal and the rust with a wash and pigments.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
