HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) is a family of heavy tactical trucks of the US Army in an 8x8 layout. The M1120 version is fitted with the self-loading LHS, which allows standardized transport flatracks and containers to be loaded and unloaded independently, without the help of a crane or a forklift. That considerably speeds up the resupply of combat units. The vehicle is the backbone of American military logistics and is used to carry ammunition, stores and fuel.
With this vehicle it pays to assemble and, if needed, paint the drive train, the chassis and the frame before you finish the cab and the body. Separate the parts with a cutter and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; rubber tires do not bond to plastic with ordinary cement. Apply a primer before painting and spray the base shade with an airbrush. Bring out dust, fluid leaks and grime with a wash and pigments, above all on the chassis, the wheels and the loading arm.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
