Maple leaves in 1:35 scale from Vertigo miniatures is a scenic accessory for putting foliage on trees and bushes and for fallen leaves on a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a scenic accessory capturing maple foliage in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of a tree and not a kit: the leaves serve for putting foliage on your own armature of a tree or a bush and for scattering fallen leaves over the ground. A maple leaf has a prominent, deeply lobed shape that a viewer recognizes even in a small scale, and a scene thus gains a particular species of tree instead of indeterminate green growth. Maple is, what is more, rewarding for autumn themes, because it stands richly yellow and red tones.
It is a good idea to tone the leaves before gluing them. Spread them out on paper and spray or brush them lightly with thinned acrylic paint, or with several shades one after another. For an autumn scene combine yellow, ocher and rust and leave a few leaves green, because a tree never changes color all at once. When composing the crown, step back from the model as you go and judge the silhouette as a whole. Finally, fix the fallen leaves with thinned glue applied with a dropper.
The armature of a tree, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
