Modern trash container is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale — a modern trash container for urban scenes. It is not a model of equipment, but an element of the fit of a setting.

The accessory from the manufacturer MAiM represents a modern trash container in 1:35 scale. It is a diorama accessory for 1:35, that is, equipment for a scene rather than a model in its own right. Check the number of parts, the material, the type of container and the dimensions of the finished piece against the illustration on the packaging and the contents of the package.
A container is one of those elements that a viewer does not consciously notice, but without which a scene does not look inhabited. In a yard, by the wall of a house, in a parking lot or in a side alley it fills an empty place and at the same time serves compositionally: it creates a screen that a figure can lean against or that partly covers a less successful corner of a diorama. In modern urban scenes it also works as a dating element, because containers of the present type place a scene in the present day unambiguously.
First try fitting the parts dry and check the right angles, as on a boxy body every skew is visible. Choose the glue according to the material — super glue on resin, ordinary modeling cement on injection-molded plastic. A plastic container typically has a rich but slightly faded color; the best results come from lightening the base shade slightly once it is dry and going over it with a thin filter, so that the surface does not look freshly cast. The weathering belongs mainly on the lid, on the edges and on the casters: rubbing, chipping down to the light, traces of knocks, dirt running under the rim and a dusty lower part. If you leave the lid slightly open, you gain a place for small rubbish and the scene comes to life at once.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
