Building and painting tips

First lay the base down dry and plan the direction of the planks. The planks should run along the longer side of the room and should point somewhere other than the main view of the scene, otherwise the area visually runs away. Cut with a sharp blade along a rule and leave a small allowance. Wood never has a single shade: lay a lighter ground and then coat the individual planks with several glazes of differing strength, so that they differ from one another. A darker tone belongs in the joints between the planks and will divide the area up. Try the paint and the glue aside on an offcut, because it depends on the material of the base, and glue onto a flat degreased surface with pressure, so that no bubbles rise.
