A set of figures in 1:35 scale released under the designation On the Hunt 1944. An accessory for a diorama or for a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of figures in 1:35 scale is released under the designation On the Hunt 1944. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread one among figures to go with military vehicles, so the figures suit the great majority of tank and vehicle models in that size. How many figures the package holds and in what poses they are rendered is stated on the packaging and in the manufacturer's instructions.
A figure gives a model its scale: only beside a human figure can you tell how big a vehicle is and how high its hull sits above the ground. In a scene it also holds the action together, because it shows the viewer where to look. That is why figures are placed in relation to the vehicles and the terrain, not on their own in the middle of a base.
Clean the figures before painting, rid them of excess material and wash them in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; cyanoacrylate glue is the safe option. They are painted from the bottom up and from large areas to small ones: the primer first, then the uniform and the kit, and the flesh and the face at the end. Flesh tones are built up in coats, because a single solid coat looks flat. A flat varnish at the end evens the sheen out and protects the paint during handling.
The set is intended for builders of dioramas and for anyone who wants to set a finished model into a scene. Paints, glue, a base and a vehicle model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
