Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a street organ grinder in 1:35 scale from the production of the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel, who is known precisely for civilian and genre subjects. It is cast from a fine resin, which faithfully carries over the details of the face and of the folds of the clothing.
The organ grinder belonged to the local color of European towns from the 19th century up to the middle of the twentieth. The street musician turning the crank of his instrument used to stand on corners, by markets and on promenades; he is a character the viewer recognizes at once and one that gives a scene a story. In a diorama he works splendidly as a counterweight to military equipment: he is a reminder that history played out among ordinary people.
Before painting, wash the figure free of the remains of the mold release agent and prime it. Worn civilian clothing comes into its own in muted earthy tones, by layering lighter shades on the raised folds and dark shading in the hollows. We recommend painting the face with acrylic paints or in oils in layers; the small details will be brought out by a fine brush of size 0 or smaller.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, cast from resin. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
