Polish TKS tankette 1:35 is an Aber photo-etched detail set for refining the exterior of a TKS tankette model. It is not a vehicle kit but a metal accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale from Aber, intended to refine the plastic model of the Polish TKS tankette. It is not a vehicle kit but a set of fine photo-etched parts that replace the coarser plastic elements and add the detail an injection mold cannot capture faithfully. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The TKS was a Polish reconnaissance tankette of the 1930s derived from the British Carden-Loyd concept. It was a small, lightly armored two-man vehicle with a machine gun or a small-caliber weapon, used by the Polish Army in the defense of Poland in 1939. Thanks to its low silhouette it served mainly for reconnaissance and escort work.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret carefully with a sharp blade on a glass surface and bend them with a bending tool or a metal rule. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue or a glue made for photo-etched metal. Degrease the metal parts before painting and lay down a primer for metal.
This is a photo-etched accessory for a model, not a standalone vehicle kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
