Hardly has day broken when a camp takes on its own rhythm, and hygiene is the first part of it. A makeshift stand with a sheet metal tank, a small mirror hung up and a bucket underneath it are therefore a rewarding element for any scene where a unit stays longer than one night. Unlike a brick washroom, this scene can be built in the middle of a forest, among the trees and without a single building.
According to the manufacturer the package holds 14 castings, plus a photo-etched fret and wire. The wire is the key thing here, because field facilities are held together by exactly that, by wires, hooks and makeshift lashings, and cast wire never looks convincing. The photo-etched parts add the sheet metal rims, fittings and holders, while the castings carry the vessels and the supporting frame.
The version without people is interesting too. An abandoned position with an overturned tank and the remains of a towel in a branch tells of a quick retreat without a single figure. Scenes like that work well on small bases, where there is no room for vehicles and one clearly readable detail decides the matter.
