This photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Aber is not a standalone model but an accessory for raising the detail of the German Panzer III medium tank in the early Ausf. E version. It adds fine metal elements that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully.
The Panzer III was a German medium tank of the Second World War. The Ausf. E version was one of the first forms in series production with new running gear of six road wheels and torsion bar suspension. It originally carried a 3.7 cm gun, which on a number of vehicles was later replaced by a 5 cm one.
Separate the parts carefully with a sharp blade, form the bends under a rule or on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the fine photo-etched elements with a primer; the detail will come out with a wash in the recesses and a light dusting of pigments.
