The kit captures the Polish destroyer ORP Wicher in the wz.35 fit in 1:400 scale. The model from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby comes as a set of injection-molded plastic parts to be glued and painted, together with a decal sheet. The wz.35 form matches the appearance of the ship in the middle of the 1930s.
ORP Wicher was a Polish destroyer of the interwar period and one of the first modern vessels of the rebuilt Polish Navy. She served on patrol and escort duty; at the beginning of the Second World War she operated off the Polish coast. The wz.35 fit captures her appearance and outfit from before the war.
The hull is built as a whole; remove the flash from the joints and glue with a thin cement for plastic. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting and spray with an airbrush; fine items such as the railings can be picked out with extra photo-etched parts, which are not included in the package. You can bring the surface to life with a wash into the recesses. The finished model looks good on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
