The plastic kit of the QF 6 Pounder Airborne in 1:35 scale from AFV Club presents the British anti-tank gun in its airborne form.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British QF 6 Pounder anti-tank gun in its airborne form, in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. It is not a model of a vehicle but of a gun on a wheeled carriage. The set is supplied unassembled and is meant to be glued and painted.
The Ordnance QF 6-pounder was a British anti-tank gun of the Second World War with a caliber of six pounds (57 mm). The airborne form used a lightened Mk.III carriage, so that it could be carried by gliders and committed with airborne units. The gun proved itself against armored equipment and served with British as well as Allied forces.
Glue the small parts of the carriage and the breech with thin cement and a light touch, because the gun has fine components. Apply primer and the base shade with an airbrush. Crew figures and accessories for creating a firing position suit the gun, but they are not part of this set, unless stated otherwise.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
