The 1:35 Semovente M40-75/18 and CA M13/40 wheel masking set from the Quickwheel company is a self-adhesive aid, which during painting separates the rubber tread of a road wheel from the disk. The cut-outs are cut for the wheels from the kit of the Tamiya company.

It is neither a kit nor a spare part, but a masking aid. The masks are applied to the road wheels in such a way that they block out the center of the disk and reveal only the area of the rubber. That can then be sprayed all at once, without drawing the boundary around by hand with a brush. The set is tied to a particular wheel, which is why Quickwheel cuts it for the kit of the Tamiya company. With wheels from another mold the match of the shape has to be verified beforehand.
The running gear of Italian vehicles of this class is built in stages and the painting of the wheels has to fit into them at the right moment. The sequence that has proved itself is to assemble and clean up the wheels separately, away from the hull, to give them a base and the base color of the vehicle, and only then to apply the masks and finish the rubber. Wheels glued onto the running gear are substantially harder to mask, because you cannot get at the inner side of the disk and the mask is applied blind. Only once the paint on the wheels is finished does it make sense to seat them in the suspension and to fit the tracks.
Before applying, degrease the wheel and let the base cure properly. Lay the mask on dry, check the alignment with the disk and only then press it down around the perimeter. Apply the paint onto the rubber in thin layers and from the center outward, so that it does not run under the margin of the mask. Take the mask off as soon as the paint sets, not only after full curing.
The package holds masking masks, not parts of a model. Paints, thinners and glue are not included in the delivery.
