Responsibility details are not available.
A stand-alone figure in 1:35 scale cast in resin, meant for dioramas from the campaign of September 1939. It is not a vehicle kit or a set with a horse, but a figure of a cavalry soldier. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The maker is the Polish brand Toro Model, which has an extensive range of figures on the subject of the Polish army of 1939, so a whole scene can be put together from them.
In the Polish army of 1939 the cavalry formed a branch of service in its own right. It worked above all as mounted infantry, that is, units that moved on horseback and usually fought dismounted. The uniform and gear of a cavalryman therefore differed from the infantry pattern in details, above all in the way the gear was carried and in the cut of the trousers and the footwear.
First wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; plastic cement has no effect on resin. Paint the uniform in muted khaki tones and give the leather parts of the gear and the footwear a brown shade with a light sheen so that they stand out against the cloth. Bring out the folds with a dark wash, pick out the raised areas with a dry brush and add dust pigment to the bottom of the trouser legs to match the terrain in the scene.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
