A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank kit but a set of fine metal parts with which you replace the coarser plastic side boxes on the hull of the British Cromwell and Centaur cruiser tanks. The photo-etched parts have thinner walls and truer riveting than injected plastic.
The set holds photo-etched walls, lids and brackets for the side storage boxes. Once assembled, the boxes look realistically thin-walled, and you can even show the lids slightly open for a more interesting composition. It is intended for plastic models of the Cromwell and the Centaur in 1:35 scale.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel, make the bends on a photo-etch bending tool and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer for metal; only then spray the color with an airbrush.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The tank kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
