The treadle sewing machine was typical equipment in homes and workshops throughout the first half of the 20th century. In a diorama it brings a civilian interior, a tailor's workshop or a damaged dwelling to life. It works well as a storytelling element beside figures.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks, and cut the fine photo-etched components out of the fret and bend them. Glue everything with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the primer is on, bring out the black lacquer, the gold lining and the chromed metal; a wash and light chipping add wear.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
