Aber 1:35 SU-122 is a photo-etched metal detail set for refining the Soviet SU-122 self-propelled gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set in 1:35 scale from Aber is not a standalone model but an accessory in photo-etched metal for raising the detail of the Soviet SU-122 self-propelled gun. The fine metal parts replace the thicker plastic elements and add shapes that are hard to mold in injection plastic.
The SU-122 was a Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. In a fixed superstructure it carried a 122 mm howitzer and served for the direct fire support of infantry and tanks. It was among the first Soviet self-propelled guns of this class.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade, form the bends under a rule or on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The fine sheet metal elements, the grab handles and the fittings come out well once sprayed with a primer and given a wash.
This is a photo-etched metal detail accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
