This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Soviet T-10 heavy tank. The 1:35 scale model from Trumpeter holds tracks built up from individual links and photo-etched parts, and it offers a faithful rendering of the massive hull, the turret and the running gear.
The T-10 was the last Soviet heavy tank taken into service and it followed on from the IS series of tanks. It carried a 122 mm gun and stood out for heavy armor and a characteristic rounded turret. It served with the Soviet Army from the 1950s and represented the high point of classic heavy tank development.
Assemble and fine-tune the built-up tracks and the running gear before you finish the hull; glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Join the plastic with liquid modeling cement, apply a primer and spray the shades with an airbrush. The tank's large silhouette will come out well with shading that brings out its volume, plus washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
