A photo-etched metal set of the gear and personal accessories of Soviet infantry of the Second World War in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Aber. It holds small items of gear and fittings with which plastic figures of soldiers or a diorama can be completed. Thin photo-etched metal captures details that are too coarse in plastic.
The personal gear of a Red Army soldier took in a number of belts, pouches, holsters and small items of equipment. Rendering these details faithfully markedly brings a scene with figures to life.
Nip the parts out of the photo-etched fret and clean them up, make the bends on a bending tool or along the scored lines, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a coat of primer for adhesion. Fit the small parts with tweezers and in good light, and match the accessories to the colors of the figures.
