MAiM 1:35 Stabsoffizier Willidon is a figure of a staff officer of the fictional Schwabenland army from the military-flavored science fiction range Front46.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a separate figure in 1:35 scale — a staff officer named Willidon, a member of the fictional Schwabenland army. The designation Front46 at the end of the name is the name of the model range of the manufacturer, not truncated text and not a scale. The figure is intended to bring scenes with the machines of the same range to life; it is not a model of equipment and holds no machine.
Willidon and the whole Schwabenland army are invented. The Front46 range works with a stylized alternative future of the middle of the 1940s: the uniforms and machines refer to the shapes of period equipment, but it is not a reconstruction of historical units, people or markings. For a modeler there is a practical consequence — you are not bound by any documented subject, so the choice of shades, facings and the overall feel of the figure is open and you do not have to look for period documentation. The figure works as a command element of a scene: a figure standing to one side of a machine gives a composition direction and a line of sight.
Choose the glue according to the material of the parts — a plastic cement on plastic, super glue on resin parts. Wash the figure in lukewarm soapy water, sand the parting seams gently and protect your airways as you do so. Apply a thin layer of filler primer. Build the face up in layers: the base tone of the skin, a darker shadow into the eye sockets and under the edge of the cap, highlights on the forehead and the cheekbones. The coat and the tunic take a dark wash in the folds and fine dry-brushing on the edges. Dust the high boots and the bottoms of the trousers lightly with pigment, so that the figure blends with the base of the scene.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with no model of a machine. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
