A resin kit of the American handcart M3A1 with a Browning machine gun of .30 caliber in 1:35 scale. The Czech manufacturer Plusmodel concentrates on the small equipment and machines that are missing elsewhere, and an infantry cart with a machine gun is exactly the detail that turns a little group of figures into a living scene.
American infantry of the Second World War used light handcarts to move heavier weapons, ammunition and equipment where vehicles could not get through. Two men could pull the two-wheeled cart and it would carry a machine gun, a mortar or boxes of ammunition; it was valuable help above all to airborne and foot units in the first hours after landing. The Browning machine gun of .30 caliber was among the basic support armament of American units throughout the war.
Cut the small resin parts away from the lugs carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the cart in olive green with scuffs on the handles and the body, and the machine gun with a combination of dark metal and a fine metallic sheen on the edges. A combination with a pair of figures pulling the cart or a scene of unloading from a glider is striking.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, the parts are of resin. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
