Framed pictures with jets in the air: a set of five wall miniatures from MAiM in the universal 1:35 scale for diorama interiors.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of five miniature wall pictures with motifs of jet aircraft caught in flight, complete with frames. The manufacturer MAiM lists it in the universal 1:35 scale, because wall pictures come in all sorts of sizes in reality, so the set can be used without difficulty in neighboring scales as well, for instance 1:32 or 1:48.
Aviation motifs on a wall define the character of a room at once: the bedroom of a boy dreaming of a career as a pilot, the office of a squadron commander, a briefing room on a base or the wall of a flying club. The pictures work as a subtle narrative element, because they reveal what the figure in a scene lives for without your adding a single word. They combine superbly with the furniture and other interior accessories of the same range.
Clean the frames up if necessary and paint them; gold, dark wood or black are the classics, and the motif can then be coated with satin clear to imitate glazing. Glue the pictures to the wall with gel super glue and set one of them slightly off level, because a picture hanging perfectly straight looks almost suspicious in an inhabited scene. Five pieces let you put together a small gallery above a desk, or divide them between several rooms.
The set is meant for fitting into the interior of a diorama; with the frames, count on cleaning up and painting if necessary. The manufacturer does not state the exact dimensions.
