Picture frames with motifs of aircraft in the sunset, 1:35/Uniscale from MAiM: aviation wall decoration for diorama interiors.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of picture frames with motifs of jet aircraft against a sunset from the manufacturer MAiM is decoration made for anyone building a scene with an aviation undertone. A picture of an aircraft on the wall reveals at once who lives or works in the room. The set is listed in the universal 1:35/Uniscale and will serve in scenes in neighboring scales as well, for instance 1:32.
Aviation motifs suggest themselves for an office on an air base, a pilot's study, a veterans' clubroom, a modeler's hobby room or the waiting room of a flying club. They also work interestingly as a contrast, because a picture of a machine in the sun on the wall of a bombed house tells a powerful story. Combined with the furniture and the other props from MAiM you can furnish a whole interior.
The frames come out well in a dark, sober finish that lets the colored sky of the motif stand out. In military interiors hang the pictures regularly and symmetrically, because order belongs to the atmosphere; in civilian scenes a looser layout looks more natural instead. A fine dust pigment along the top edge of the frames will add conviction.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
