Responsibility details are not available.
A two-figure set in 1:35 scale cast in resin from the manufacturer Bravo 6. The subject is the handling of jerrycans, that is an ordinary supply activity around equipment. The castings are supplied unpainted and unassembled; once cleaned they are glued with cyanoacrylate super glue and painted.
The figures represent American soldiers from the period of the war in Vietnam in tropical field uniform, captured while carrying jerrycans. A pair of figures in a working pose is a rewarding accessory to a model of a vehicle or a helicopter - it gives a scene scale, a direction of movement and a reason why the equipment is standing there. The jerrycans are at the same time a small item on which the painting of metal and of rub-through stands out.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains of the release agent from the mold are removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surfaces down wet with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate super glue, and gel cyanoacrylate or putty will fill the seams. Apply a primer before painting. With figures the procedure from a base tone of the uniform through shading of the folds to a lightening of the edges proves itself; the faces and the hands are finished off with a brush. We recommend painting the jerrycans separately before gluing them into the hands, so that the rub-through and the scrapes can be finished off comfortably.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
