Period posters from the Second World War 1:35 are a printed paper accessory for a diorama — not a kit and not a waterslide decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed sheet of posters in 1:35 scale for dioramas and display-case scenes set in the Second World War. It serves as a scenic accessory for walls, fences, doors and interior walls. It is not a kit, not a resin part and not a waterslide decal — it is printed paper meant to be cut out and glued down.
A freshly printed poster looks new in a scene, and therefore out of place. A few simple steps help its credibility: go over the edges lightly with a soft pencil or pastel, cover the surface with a very thin brown wash drawn from the top down, and if need be sand the surface gently with the finest abrasive paper so that it dulls and scuffs. A torn corner, a folded tip or a missing piece give the scene a story better than a perfectly straight rectangle. Do not overdo the dirt, though — the poster has to stay readable as a poster, or it will disappear from the scene.
Glue the cut piece with a thin layer of PVA or matte paper glue applied to the surface. Paper works slightly once it is damp, so press it down with a soft brush from the center to the edges and let it dry thoroughly under light pressure. Once it is completely dry, spray it with matte varnish — it will blend the sheen with the rest of the scene and harden the surface against abrasion as the diorama is handled further.
The accessory is supplied as a printed sheet. Glue, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
