A universal set of photo-etched parts in 1:350 scale intended for detailing models of warships and civilian ships. The package contains finely etched handrails and ladders with which you replace the coarse plastic parts and give the deck a realistic look. Note: this is not a ship kit but an accessory set for a model you already have.
The photo-etched handrails are bent and glued along the edges of the decks and the superstructures, and the ladders serve to connect the individual decks. The parts are designed so that they can be used on a wide range of ship models in this scale, without having to buy an expensive model-specific set.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or with photo-etch shears on a hard surface. Bend them with a photo-etch bender or between two rulers. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and degrease them before applying a clear coat. For a stronger joint the parts can be soldered.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
