A set of turned metal barrels for the model of the Italian battleship Roma in 1:350 scale from MASTER. It holds 9 barrels of the main 381 mm caliber, 12 barrels of the secondary 152 mm caliber and 12 barrels of the 90 mm anti-aircraft caliber. Turned metal has a straight bore and a crisp muzzle that plastic parts cannot capture.
Roma was an Italian battleship of the Littorio (Vittorio Veneto) class, one of the most modern ships of the Regia Marina in the Second World War. In September 1943, when Italy capitulated, she was sunk by the German Fritz X guided bomb – one of the first successes of a guided anti-ship weapon.
Separate the barrels from the gate, adjust the seating pin and glue them in with cyanoacrylate glue. Straight metal barrels let you line up the elevation of the main guns faithfully. Apply a primer to the metal before painting.
The set serves as a turned replacement for parts of the base kit; on its own it is not a ship model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
