Aber 1:350 - six Japanese 61 cm Type 93 torpedoes is a detail set of turned metal torpedoes for refining models of Japanese ships in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds six turned metal torpedoes of 61 cm caliber, the Type 93, meant to replace the plastic parts on models of Japanese ships in 1:350 scale. It is not a ship model but an accessory for a kit you already own. The manufacturer is the Polish company Aber, a specialist in turned and photo-etched metal details.
The 61 cm Type 93 was a Japanese oxygen-propelled torpedo with exceptional range and speed. Destroyers and cruisers carried it, and it became known as one of the most effective torpedo weapons of the Second World War.
Cut the turned torpedoes off the leftover stub, clean them up and fit them into the torpedo tube mounts or onto the decks in place of the plastic parts. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal and apply a primer before painting.
This is an add-on turned-metal set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
