Turned brass barrel set for the battleship Scharnhorst (1943) (1:350, Aber) for models of German warships. A metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels of the gun armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish manufacturer Aber holds turned brass barrels in 1:350 scale for models of the German battleship Scharnhorst as she was in 1943. It is not a ship model but a precise metal accessory that replaces the plastic barrels and gives the guns a crisp, true profile.
Scharnhorst carried nine 283 mm guns in three triple turrets, backed by a secondary battery of 150 mm guns. The ship operated in northern waters and was sunk in the Battle of the North Cape at the end of 1943. The set matches her later, final fit.
Carefully cut off the plastic barrels and replace them with the brass ones. Glue the metal with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and degrease the joint beforehand. We recommend a coat of primer and a gray shade matching German naval camouflage.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
