Ano, jde o detailní vstřikovanou plastovou stavebnici v měřítku 1:350 s leptanými díly. Dodává se nesestavená a nenabarvená.

DSRV (Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle) je malé hlubinné záchranné plavidlo přepravované na hřbetě mateřské ponorky; slouží k záchraně posádek z potopených ponorek. V kitu je usazené na zádi.

Kit umožňuje postavit všechny tři verze třídy — ranou 688, verzi VLS i modernizovanou 688I.

Oproti běžným stavebnicím třídy Los Angeles obsahuje navíc záchranné plavidlo DSRV a nabízí bohatší detail; je proto vhodnější pro zkušenější modeláře.
