A multi-piece plastic set of miniature WZ-9C helicopters in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. This is not a stand-alone large model but an accessory set of small parts for populating the decks and hangars of warship models in the same scale. The parts are injection-molded in clear plastic and decals tend to be included. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The WZ-9C is the armed version of the Chinese Z-9 series of helicopters, derived under license from the French Dauphin. It serves for fire support and light combat duties and can also be operated from ship decks. It is among the lighter Chinese combat helicopters.
The parts are very small, so work with tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic applied in drops. Glue the rotors and the pylons carefully. For painting, choose an airbrush and thin coats that preserve the fine relief; finish the details with a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
