A multi-piece plastic set of miniature Z-9 helicopters in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. This is not a stand-alone large model but an accessory set of small parts for populating the decks and hangars of warship models in the same scale. The parts are injection-molded in clear plastic and decals tend to be included. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The Z-9 is a Chinese multirole helicopter built under license from the French Dauphin. It serves for light transport, liaison and patrol duties, and in the naval version it is operated from the decks of surface ships. It is among the widespread light helicopters of the Chinese armed forces.
The parts are very small, so work with tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic applied in drops. Glue the rotors and the landing gear carefully. For painting, choose an airbrush and thin coats that preserve the fine relief; finish the details with a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
