The light peak of the flesh tone is brought by Flesh 2 Light: a water-based acrylic paint for the lightest places of the faces and hands of figures.

Flesh on a figure is never painted with a single color. A trio decides it: base, shadow and light. Flesh 2 Light is a water-based acrylic paint that provides the light in the second flesh trio, the tone with which the bridge of the nose, the cheekbones, the forehead, the chin and the knuckles are accentuated, that is, all the places light falls on from above.
How the trio works
The basic tone is applied over the whole surface of the skin, the shadow is worked into the recesses and folds, and the light tone is laid on the highest points. The transitions are played out gradually, so that no edge stays between the tones. In smaller scales it is enough to suggest only a few highlights; with larger figures and busts it pays to add intermediate steps and to work the transition into a smooth form. The light is laid on sparingly at the same time: the smaller the area, the more pronounced the impression, and highlights that are too extensive look chalky.
The shade belongs in the equipment of modelers of figures and busts who build flesh up by layering and want their highlights ready rather than mixed by eye. It will also serve modelers of vehicles who add a figure to a diorama only occasionally and need a reliable light flesh tone at hand.
