The Aoshima 1:700 ordnance set for smaller warships offers replacement gun and armament parts to sharpen up ship models in 1:700 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on parts set from the Aoshima brand in 1:700 scale holding armament and weapon items for smaller warships. It is not a ship model, but a collection of replacement and add-on parts with which you can sharpen up and complete the gun and light armament of your ship kits. The set is meant to be glued together and painted.
Smaller warships carried a range of small armament whose factory rendering in basic kits tends to be simplified. This set offers separate gun and armament parts with which the armament can be replaced or completed and the fidelity of the model raised. It comes into its own in building as well as in converting smaller surface units.
Separate the small parts from the sprue carefully with a sharp knife, clean them up and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Before fitting them, consider painting the individual pieces with an airbrush or a brush, because small barrels and mountings are easier to paint before they are in place. It is a good idea to add photo-etched parts for the fine detail as well.
This is an add-on parts set, not a stand-alone ship model. Paints, glue and the ship they go on are not included in the package.
